A Management Graduate from IIM-A (1989-91), he joined HUL as a Management Trainee and has since worked with them in various Sales & Marketing and General Management roles.  He has over 15 years of experience across different categories (Home & Personal Care and  Foods) and in all the four geographies in the country. During his tenure he has worked on many brands, most notably on Vim, Wheel, Surf, Rin & Lipton.  Sudhanshu has introduced Lipton Ice Tea in India.   He has also done a short-term assignment on Modern Trade (Organised Retailing) in Thailand.

During 2004-2005, Sudhanshu has also worked with BP in India for about 18 months as Vice President Marketing and was instrumental in the Castrol Master Brand Relaunch in 2005.

He is an avid trekker and runs the half-marathon regularly.
